Who we are
Provenant Advisory ("we", "us") is [a sole trader / [COMPANY NAME] Ltd, company number [NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS]]. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@provenantadvisory.co.uk.
What we collect
When you book a call or contact us, we collect your name, work email, company, company size, role, your preferred call time and anything you choose to write in your message. If you become a client, we also keep the contact details and correspondence needed to deliver our services and invoice you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To arrange and hold the call you asked for: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver services and send invoices: performance of a contract, and legal obligation for accounting records.
- To follow up after a call about our services: our legitimate interest in running our business. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing), Formspree (website form delivery), [EMAIL PROVIDER] (email), and [CALENDAR TOOL, if used] (call scheduling). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after the end of the engagement, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email hello@provenantadvisory.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
